You can specify how much of a section needs to be in view for the palette change to be triggered (a different value can be specified for small and large devices).

  • New options for centering content (especially useful for divider patterns as previous version required you to contstrain the size of container - now you can just select your width and select 'Centre').
  • Options for setting your pattern to 'Centre-left' and 'Centre-right'.

v1.0.0

03 January 2019

Initial release

v1.3.0

26 November 2018

New features

The 'Data Labels' release

  • Option to add data labels to a dataset
  • Options to position / style the labels
  • Option to control border width & radius (global settings in new Data Labels setting group)
  • Option to add padding to the values on the Y-Axis. (This is helpful if using data labels)

v1.1.1

Improvements

  • Option to add a level of protection to your images. Selecting this option will prevent right-clicking on the images (to Save As / Download) and will also prevent dragging the image to another application.

NB: Experienced / advanced users will still be able to download the images if they really wish to. These methods however will prevent the majority of users being able to download your images.

v1.1.0

16 November 2018

New features

2 brand new stacks added along side the original Srcerer stack. The Srcerer download now comes with:

  1. Srcerer (Sizes) stack - the original stack
  2. Srcerer (Art Direction) stack
  3. Srcerer (Single) stack

You may wish to download the updated project file from the main Srcerer page to see some more examples of how these new stacks operate.

Improvements

  • Further improvements in Edit mode.
  • If viewing the linked image in Edit mode, Srcerer stack will use the image size that has been set to be the default / fallback image

v1.0.4

12 November 2018

New features

  • Added option to allow 'click throughs' on any added content. This is useful when using the image as a link and for hover/tap events on mobile devices.

Note that if you are adding buttons as content then you will need to deactivate this option (it is ON as default) otherwise clicks on the button will not be recognised.

Improvements

  • Further improvements in Edit mode.

v1.0.2

11 November 2018

Improvements

  • Issue with width setting if using 'cover mode' on images that were not full device width

v1.0.3

11 November 2018

Improvements

  • Performance improvements in Edit mode. (Less CSS being applied until Preview/Publish)

v1.0.0

29 October 2018

Initial release

v1.0.1

29 October 2018

New features

  • Option to allow scaling on devices where browser window has been increased since page load (or where device has been turned from portrait to landscape). The loaded image may not be wide enough to fill available space and so some scaling may be required. If not selected, the image will be centered and shown as large as it can be within the space.
  • 2 new 'On hover' options (to greyscale and from greyscale)

Bug fixes

  • Issue on some browsers where 'on hover' effects were causing nearby content to shift a little Default background colour of image now transparent

v1.1.0

15 October 2018

New features

  • Added option of using Scroller 'Messages'. Show messages to your visitors that are triggered by the % of page viewed. (NB: Download project file on Scroller Plus web page for required code snippets and example project).

v1.3.0

13 October 2018

New features

  • New 'Unleashed' mode. Set your images free by letting them move across the page (use responsibly!!)
  • Width setting for Unleashed mode. You can control whether your image fills 100% of its container or whether it displays at it's actual size (using max-width). This allows you to better use the unleashed mode.
  • Cancel at breakpoint. You can now opt to remove the parallax effect under a particular breakpoint.

Improvements

  • Changed maximum scale to 95. This will be way too much for most needs but can be effective (especially for use with the new 'Unleashed' mode).

v1.0.2

10 October 2018

New features

  • Added a 'buffer' value option (default 60px). This is especially for mobile devices and can help to ensure that 100% is reached (regardless of what bars etc become visible/hidden when scrolling). The difference is negliible on a desktop device.

v1.0.1

07 October 2018

Improvements

  • Added the option of a buffer value (default 60px) to ensure that 100% of page is reached on mobile devices. Using the true calculation for height on these devices could be affected by browser bars becoming visible/hidden etc. The buffer value means that 100% will be reached a little before the very bottom of the page.

v1.0.0

10 September 2018

Initial release

v1.2.0

02 September 2018

New features

  • Ability to hide (filter out) any dataset on load
  • Option to 'Transpose' a CSV / Google Sheet data source. This essentially flips the rows and the columns and is especially useful if utilising a form to collect data (as this approach tends to add data by row as opposed to column).
  • Option to specify hover colours by dataset (NB: background/fill hover colour not used when using a custom array)
  • Custom colour array option added to all datasets
  • Option to select the Tooltip 'mode' (this affects what data point(s) are displayed in the tooltip)
  • Ability to customise Tooltip text (simple and advanced options available):
    • Simple: Prepend or Append text to the value (useful to add in units info / symbols e.g. £,$ or %)
    • Simple: Option to 'localise' numerical value (i.e. the value will be shown in the viewer's country's format e.g. with commas as 1000s separators etc)
    • Advanced: The option to utilise Chart.js callbacks to fully customise the tooltip content. NB: Some snippets are provided as examples but no support is offered for this function. You can search Google / StackOverflow to find solutions that meet your particular needs.
  • Ability to customise axis data values. As with the Tooltips, you can:
    • Prepend or Append text to the value (useful to add in units info / symbols e.g. £,$ or %)
      • 'Localise' numerical value (i.e. the value will be shown in the viewer's country's format e.g. with commas as 1000s separators etc)
  • Ability to reverse the order of the legend items (especially useful for stacked Bar or Line charts and when Legend is positioned left or right)
  • Accessibility improvements - Scope to add a chart description that will provide an 'aria-label' for use with assistive technologies such as screen readers
  • Ability to specify the cutout percentage of a Doughnut chart (NB: Make sure that you leave enough of the doughnut to display all your datasets otherwise the chart will not display. The cutout can be as large as you like if only one dataset.)
  • Option to remove the scale animation used with Pie, Doughnut and Polar Area chart types leaving just a the circular reveal animation.
  • Option to change the start angle of Pie/Doughnut charts
  • Option to display a 'half' Pie or Doughnut chart
  • Option to control whether some (x-axis) labels can be omitted on smaller screens or whether all should be displayed regardless of space
  • A minimum rotation angle can now be set for x-axis labels. This can be anything from 0 (default/horizontal) to 90 (vertical)

Improvements

  • Increased maximum datasets to 15 (from 10)
  • CSV files can now have blank lines (which will be ignored when parsing)

Bug fixes

  • Setting a maximum axis value was needlessly limited to 100000

v1.1.0

23 July 2018

New features

  • Link to a (comma separated values) csv data source:
    • RW resources
    • Warehoused file on server
    • Link to Google Sheet
  • Ability to 'stack' Bar and Line Charts
  • New Chart type: Mixed Chart (Combine bars and lines in a single chart)
  • Ability to set the font used within the chart area
  • Ability to set font size of labels/values on the X and Y axes
  • Ability to set the style of a Line to dashed
  • Added Title and Type details to placeholder in Edit mode
  • Ability to set a maximum and minimum value for the axis
  • Ability to force axis to begin at zero
  • Ability to limit number of ticks used on numerical scale (by quantity or by setting the step size)
  • New control options for Radar chart (Label size and colour, toggle angled lines, gridline colour and width)

Improvements

  • Timing of the animation when scrolling into view
  • Increased maximum datasets to 10 (from 5)

  • Added option to add a link to any parallaxer image.
  • Added the option of 'down' as a parallax direction.

v1.1.0

12 June 2018

New features

  • Added fill mode option of 'Cover' so that the image can be forced to cover whatever height is desired. e.g. this is useful when you want to display a full screen banner/hero image on all devices. Previously, the image was limited to 'contain' mode which presents the full image and therefore cannot fill all browser/device windows.
  • Numerous options to control how the image appears in 'cover' mode - height/width and placement.

Improvements

  • Code optimisations by limiting the CSS code published to only what is required based on user choices. Also, opens up options for additional user-configurable options in future releases.
