Quizzer introduction
Features
Quizzer offers a lot of options enabling you to set up your quizzes in a variety of interesting ways.
Your quizzes can be used just for fun or can be used as a 'knowledge check' within any educational content.
Additionally, quizzes are great for using to stimulate interest in your website / brand. Set up your quiz in your RapidWeaver / Stacks site and then send out links to it via your social networks with appealing text such as: 'See how much you know about…' or 'Test your knowledge on…' or 'How well do you know…..?'
New in version 2
Let's take a look at the new features that we have added in v2 of Quizzer stack

Results capture
Option to save the quiz results (and per question breakdown) to CSV files on your server. Also with an option to include user details such as email and IP address.

Send to webhook
Option to send completion data (summary and detailed) to a webhook to then trigger additional processes (e.g. save to a database, send an email, save to Google sheets etc).

Tiled layout
Option to present the answer options in a more modern tiled / grid layout. Fully responsive solution that offers option of full width tiles for smaller devices.
Global color scheme
Not only can you now tap into color values (e.g. CSS variables) to more easily pick up a theme/framework's colors, you can now designate a global color scheme once and have other Quizzer instances pick that up.
And much more. Check out the full release notes!
Got v1? You'll find an upgrade discount code in the stack settings of v1.4.
Example quizzes
Test out the quizzes below to see Quizzer 2 stack in action!
You will also be able to see the Webhook option in action as it has been set up to pass the results of these 2 quizzes to a Google Sheet.
Using the Webhook option in Quizzer 2 we are sending the results and the details rom these 2 quizzes above to a Google Sheet. Note: this will not update in real-time so you would need to refresh the page to see your responses (it can take up to 5 minutes for Google Sheets to update).
No personal information is collected in these examples but Quizzer 2 does allow you to ask the user for a user name or email and/or to record the user's IP address.
Use the 'Summary' and 'Details' tabs above to view both sets of data that have been transferred. The 'Analysis' sheet is simply a pivot table in the Google Sheet that summarises the included quizzes.
Options demo
The following quizzes showcase some of the different features available.
The new default for displaying the answer options is 'Tiled' but the option is still there to present them as a traditional list.
Questions can have multiple correct answers. In addition you can set whether ALL correct answers are required or only one of them.
In addition to differentiating between correct and incorrect responses with colors there is the option to add an icon too.
You can add media (in this example images) to the question or the answer options.
There are many more options available in Quizzer 2.
Numerous quiz files are available with the demo project that demonstrate the range of options.
Quizzer Quiz File
The actual content for the quiz (questions, answers, feedback etc) is not created within RapidWeaver / Stacks. Instead, a separate file (in JSON format) is used and you link the stack to that. The file can sit in your RapidWeaver Resources folder or you can add it to an online folder somewhere and then link to it there. The latter option means that you are effectively 'warehousing' your quiz file and allows you (or others) to edit and update the content outside of RapidWeaver.
You can either create the required file by creating (or editing) your quiz file in a code editor or use our quiz code generator.
To find out more about the quiz file and its structure creation (and to download some examples) please visit the Quizzer Support portal.
